Role Description

Our client, a leading company based in Germany, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the finance teams within the Business Unit (BU), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and enhancing internal controls. The position involves consolidating financial reports, providing in-depth analysis, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize key financial KPIs. You will also play a crucial role in supporting strategic business decisions and overseeing treasury, tax, and compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, an analytical mindset, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills to effectively drive financial insights and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Guidance: Guide and monitor finance teams within the BU to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all FP&A activities. Collaborate with European finance entities to improve financial reporting accuracy and enhance internal controls.
  • Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Consolidate and submit comprehensive weekly reports, RFC (Rolling Forecast) reports, budgets, and Long-Term Plans (LTP) in alignment with group schedules. Provide detailed analysis and actionable insights to optimize key financial KPIs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Take the lead in driving all finance meeting action items to closure by working closely with the BU’s operational and finance teams.
  • Operational Financial Management: Partner with BU operation teams to support leadership in effectively managing sales (ASP, Backlog), accounts receivable collections, product margins, and OPEX/CAPEX expenditures.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Stay informed on the latest business developments within BU entities to identify financial impacts and deliver valuable recommendations to facilitate business decisions related to contracts, business models, new product introductions (NPI), and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
  • Treasury, Tax & Compliance Support: Collaborate with the CFO to oversee treasury, tax, accounting, and financial reporting functions in addition to FP&A responsibilities across BU entities.
