Role Description
Our client is a leading innovator in the semiconductor industry, delivering advanced sensor solutions for next-generation technologies. To strengthen their Sensor Business Unit, they are seeking a Senior Sensor Controller to take ownership of financial management, performance steering, and strategic finance support for the business.
This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, accounting, finance management, manufacturing, and business leadership, providing critical insight into profitability, cost structures, and investment decisions. The Senior Sensor Controller will play a key role in driving financial transparency, improving KPIs, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead FP&A activities, including weekly reporting, RFCs, budgeting, and long-term planning (LTP) in line with group timelines
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and proactively drive corrective actions to improve key KPIs (DSO, DIO, DPO, profitability, cash flow, CapEx, NPI ROI)
- Act as a finance business partner to support business development and operational decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the value chain to identify, implement, and track cost-reduction initiatives
- Develop, optimize, and standardize FP&A and accounting processes and templates to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure reliable reconciliation between sales, warehouse, and financial data (e.g. standard costing models)
- Monitor and guide treasury, accounting, and compliance activities within the Sensor BU
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of internal control frameworks
- Contribute to building and sustaining a high-performing Sensor Finance team
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Sensor Business Unit
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of manufacturing costing, profitability analysis, and financial KPIs
- Hands-on experience with financial systems, controlling tools, and reporting environments
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus
- Fluent English (working language) and German; Chinese language skills are a strong plus
