We are looking for someone with the following skills
University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, information technology or a comparable course.
2+ years experience in Embedded Software development.
Familiar with Software Engineering principles and Software architectures definition.
Excellent knowledge of C/C++ enables you to work at low level on the interfaces to both the HW (chip/board) and the RTOS.
Ability of using modern scripting languages (e.g. Python) in a targeted and effective manner supports your daily work.
Experience in Graphics Software systems is preferred; experience in Automotive environment (NICE TO HAVE).
Experience with developing according to Automotive SPICE process and ISO26262 standard (NICE TO HAVE).
You have at least basic knowledge of the German language and confidently use your English skills in an international environment.

As part of our international development team, you will work on the next generation of display and graphics solutions. Within our Software team of the European Design Center near Munich you will also interact with our colleagues in Japan, with our AE department as well as with our customers. You will focus in particular on the development of hardware-related display, graphics and peripheral drivers on various embedded HW and SW platforms.
Role description
For this position you will:
Develop embedded (SoC) drivers from concept through architecture, implementation, testing and documentation for Linux OS and other RTOS.
Continuously improve existing proprietary development tools and frameworks used for automatization of development related tasks and processes.
Work with Project Management and Quality Assurance to proceed in accordance with Automotive SPICE and ISO26262 (Functional Safety) standards.
Help to further extend and optimize the project specific implementation of existing Software development processes – including necessary documentation and creation of templates.
